PUBLIC COMMISSIONS

Public art plays an important role in society by marking an important occasion, remembering a figure or event or simply making a space more beautiful. Whatever the motivation is, a striking sculpture could be just the thing.

Whether you want to interpret political, religious, mythological or local events or figures, or honour someone special, Jarlath Daly is a safe pair of hands.

Jarlath Daly is a respected and experienced sculptor whose public work adorns cities, towns, villages and roadsides all over Ireland and whose smaller pieces occupy pride of place in people’s homes and gardens. Jarlath is privileged to have won many commissions for public art around Ireland, and especially in the County Kildare area, where he is based.

PRIVATE
COMMISSIONS

Jarlath Daly specialises in private commissions. You may know you want something arresting; you may even know what it should represent, but for most of us, creating an artwork for a special place or occasion is beyond our capabilities. This is where tapping into an artist’s unique way of perceiving things opens up possibilities. Jarlath Daly will encapsulate what you want in bronze, a safe and durable material which requires little maintenance.

Commissioning an original sculpture is sometimes the perfect way to honour a special person, be they a dignitary, business person or simply someone who needs to be recognised.
